Holy Trinity Cemetery Policy and Procedures

Holy Trinity provides the right of internment for parishioners and other Catholics who meet the policies and procedures listed below, which are regulated by a cemetery committee (hereafter called committee or chairman). Resale of the rights of internment is not permitted.

Plot sizes are 4.5' wide X 10' long

  1. Parishioners of the Holy Trinity Parish may be buried without cost provided they:
    1. Have been registered with Holy Trinity for at least one year,
    2. Are actively participating in the spiritual life of Holy Trinity Parish,
    3. Contribute regularly to Holy Trinity by check or church envelope,
    4. Contribute a minimum of $10 annually, usually in October, for upkeep of the cemetery.
  2. Catholic Non-Parishioners may be buried provided they:
    1. Are a spouse or child of a current parishioner or deceased parishioner buried in the cemetery,
    2. Pay a $300 fee per plot,
    3. Contribute a minimum of $10 annually, usually in October, for upkeep of the cemetery.
  3. Catholic Non-Parishioners with no family ties to Holy Trinity may be buried provided they:
    1. Pay a $1,000 fee per plot,
    2. Contribute a minimum of $10 annually, usually in October, for upkeep of the cemetery.
  4. To reserve a special plot, a $50 fee is required. This fee is waived for surviving spouse.
  5. Above policies also apply to non-Catholic spouses.
  6. Failure to pay annual upkeep fee will forfeit the right to be buried in reserved plot.
  7. Not more than one body or the remains thereof shall be interned in one grave.
  8. When the location of an internment space is indefinite or the specified space cannot be opened and that space has been properly designated, the chairman may choose a location as he deems best and proper. The chairman shall not be liable in damages for any errors so made or for opening such space in location other than specified.
  9. Prior to any type of curb construction or monument placement, a member of the committee must be notified. Any unapproved construction may be removed without notice.
  10. The committee has the right to remove any flowers, plants, monuments, structures or any other offensive objects considered improper or injurious to the appearance of the surrounding plots or grounds.
  11. In the south addition of the cemetery, there will be no raised graves or slabs over the graves, and no grave curbing will be allowed.
  12. Memorials may be made to the Cemetery Fund to honor a loved one. Include the name of the individual to be remembered as well as the name and address of the donor.
  13. Special circumstances that may arise, as well as the type of liturgical services for those being buried, are at the discretion of the pastor.
